We came, we saw, we performed! ...and when we were done, we sat down and it was our turn to be entertained. August's Open Mic was overflowing with talent. All who were present went away feeling like we were part of something special! Thanks to everyone who poured their heart and soul into their music in August!
SHIRT 2.0
We're coming up on our 2nd Anniversary and in honor of 2 years of monthly nights of live music I've designed a new shirt. The new design is a continuation of the familiar "guitarist on a stool" silouhette, with some new twists. Since we're not raising funds for a PA this time I'm pricing them to simply cover the costs of the shirts and printing. They will be available for $10 each and, with any luck, will arrive in time for September's Open Mic!
THE NEXT FIRST SATURDAYS OPEN MIC
is SATURDAY, September 5, FROM 6-8PM (with SIGN-UP BEGINNING AT 5:30) held, as always, at Evanston's favorite Coffee House, BROTHERS K, located at 500 Main Street, just 1 block from the Metra and El stations.
NOTE: To be sure to get a seat and/or your name on the sign-up sheet make sure to be there by 5:30.
